Overview

Trace Apostle Paul’s footsteps on this private half-day biblical tour from Athens, timed to fit comfortably around a long layover. Leaving the city, your driver follows the coast road with views over the Saronic Gulf before reaching the Corinth Canal viewpoint, where the cliffs drop away to the narrow shipping channel far below. The route continues to Corinth itself, then to the day’s centerpiece: Ancient Corinth, where you’ll walk among the Temple of Apollo, the ancient Agora, and the Bema, the raised stone platform where Paul once addressed the city.

From the archaeological site, the tour carries on to the ancient Diolkos, the stone-paved trackway once used to haul ships across the isthmus, and then to Kechries, the ancient port where Paul sailed and where one of the region’s earliest churches stood. The day closes at the hilltop fortress of Acrocorinth, with sweeping views over the Corinthian Gulf and the plain below — a fitting last stop before the drive back to Athens.

A free audio guide is included throughout, so you can follow the biblical and historical background of each stop at your own pace, even while your driver keeps the focus on the road. Private pickup and drop-off, and a modern air-conditioned vehicle, are included as standard; entrance to Ancient Corinth itself is not included and is paid directly at the site. Time is built in at each stop rather than a rushed drive-by, so the day feels unhurried even on a tight schedule.
